Job Description
We are looking for a network engineer to join our delivery team. Our team consist of highly skilled cloud professionals and architects specializing in designing and executing complex large-scale projects based on VMware SDDC stack. In this role you will responsible for design, installation, upgrade, configuration, and implementation of VMware network virtualization solutions. Work includes conducting consulting engagements with customers for delivery, writing technical papers and documentation, research and benchmarking of new technologies, preparing technical sessions for external and internal use and more.
Beyond the technical expertise, we’re looking for a people-oriented person who’s a team player, with aid-first mentality to join our truly special family.
Requirements
3+ years of experience as a network engineer
Ability to deal with the following networking protocols, topics and technologies on a daily basis:
TCP/IP and UDP, BGP, iBGP, OSPF, ECMP, GRE and IPIP tunneling
IPv4 and IPv6 networking, ASN, and the procurement of such resources
DNS and its evolution, RADIUS, LDAP, VPN, IPSEC, TLS, load balancing, WAF, IDS/IPS, DoS and DDoS mitigation best practices, SNMP
Virtual and logical networking
Measuring utilization, saturation and errors of key bottlenecks
High availability and scaling of networking protocols, devices, and services
Security and compliance, configuration management and change control
Experience with Cisco (Routing, L3 and L2 switching, Firewalling and VPN (Site-to-Site IPSec)
CCNA certification or better
A competent understanding of networking device hardware
Decent scripting experience (e.g. Linux Shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, JavaScript)
Strong self-learning skills
Demonstrated excellent communications and interpersonal skills, including presentations
Excellent English language writing and speaking skills
