As a Software Engineer, Deep Learning (Digital Health), you are responsible for implementing spatial and visual computing paradigms to define novel biomedical and user sensing algorithms for wellness, health, and digital therapeutics applications. You will work on the algorithms for the core user sensing service of our spatial computing platform. You will work closely with embedded algorithms software engineers, the data collection teams and the clinical team to ensure a efficient and highly robust clinically validated solution.
Responsibilities• Implement deep-learning components for a robust, real-time user perception service dedicated to health and wellness applications• Develop optimization methods, deep architectures, and learning tools to ease the use of feed forward and recurrent models• Explore, prototype, design, develop and test of methods and algorithms for detection and measurement of clinically and biologically relevant biomarkers• Implement components from applied-research phase to production code while maintaining highest standards and practices of software development• Interface with other software engineers to develop features in expected quality to customers• Write elegant, maintainable, reusable code, leveraging test driven principles to develop high quality algorithms and services• Create software, review code, write documentation following medical device and HIPAA design controls
Qualifications• 5+ years of industry experience as software developer• 3+ years coding & debugging of C++/Python• Experience in implementation of deep learning and other biomedical algorithms and methods for health and wellness- advantage• Experience working in medical device regulated (FDA, MDD, HIPAA/GDPR, cybersecurity) industry a plus- advantage• Proven ability and experience to use data to draw the right conclusions-advantage
Education• BA/BS in CS, EE or similar required. MSc, Ph.D.. in Computer Science or related a strong plus
