What you will be doing:
Investigate Technical Support issues being escalated from Tier 3 support
Work with R&D on critical field issues investigation and debug
Work on debug process of multidisciplinary systems that include Linux embedded, Micro controllers, Cloud based monitoring system and SMPS (switch mode power supply) HW
Provide product training for the support organization
Responsible for escalating technical issues that could not be resolved by Tier 3 Engineers, Product Development and Software Development
Work continuously to increase Support Engineers product knowledge by reviewing escalated cases
Requirements:
The ideal candidate will have a degree in Electrical Engineering or experienced practical electrical engineer
Experience utilizing debugging tools and lab simulations to analyze problems and identify solutions
Basic knowledge in SMPS (switch mode power supply), AC/DC and DC/DC converters
Ability to logically troubleshoot software issues to determine the root cause and present suggested work-around and solutions
Ability to investigate, analyze and understand complicated system issues
