Job Description
Follow through end to end project life cycle from initiation, planning, design, development, testing, and deployment of the solution in a telecom network.
Responsibilities:
Responsible for project scope, schedule, and cost control.
Ensured successful and timely installations.
Developed personnel policies and procedures.
Improved cost control by eliminating needless expenses.
Manager cross-functional teams focused on the delivery of projects and/or programs into a finished state
Monitors the project from initiation through delivery, interfacing with customers or department personnel
Organizes project activities that may require interdepartmental meetings and communication ensuring completion of the program/project on schedule and within budget constraints
Assigns and monitors work of technical personnel, providing support and interpretation of instructions/objectives
Directs the activities of project support staff and sub-contractors and is responsible for ensuring appropriate resources are allocated and maintained to facilitate the successful completion of the project
Requirements:
Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering or Computer Engineering
Hands-on experience with mobile telecom infrastructure equipment
Knowledge of worldwide mobile telecom standards (e.g., GSM, CDMA, UMTS, LTE, and derivative 2G-4G technologies) for voice and data
Strong project planning, risk management, and stakeholder management skills
At least 2-3 years of related project management experience
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Willingness to travel to customers sites during the lifecycle of the project, sometimes at short notice
