Systems Engineer
Role description
A medical device company requires an experienced systems engineer as part of a systems engineering team. This role includes the following:
Writing of detailed technical requirements, characteristics and specifications documents at the system level and the sub-system level (Hardware and software).
Analysis and management of risks.
Leading system design, engineering design reviews, integration and testing for a multi-disciplinary medical system.
Building architecture and system solutions.
Defining and planning of verification and validation activities.
Research of systemic problems – characterization, testing and leading of system solutions to the development, production and service teams.
Design and leading of experiments, analysis of results, and writing engineering reports.
Accompanying the regulatory tests.
Accompanying the engineering and manufacturing teams in transferring from development to production.
Role requirements
B.Sc./M.Sc. in Electrical Engineering / Physics from a leading university
At least 5 years experience in systems engineering of a multi-disciplinary product.
Additional previous experience as a member of a multi-disciplinary product development team that integrates software, algorithms, hardware, mechanics.
Experience in the development environment of complex medical devices and familiarity with medical equipment standards – a significant advantage.
Experience in characterization of system software and UI/UX -a significant advantage
Planning and organization capability, ability to work simultaneously on multiple topics.
Broad systemic vision, technical leadership abilities and excellent interpersonal skills.
Fluent in Hebrew and English
