Primary Responsibilities:
Design and development of efficient biomedical signal processing algorithms
Development of new clinical information derived from new and existing biomedical monitoring technologies
Perform biomedical data collection, and biomedical data analysis
Cooperation and interaction with hardware, software and clinical team members
Participate in experiments for collecting and processing clinical studies in human and animal subjects
Carry out statistical analysis of clinical data
Education & experience:
At least 5 years’ experience in ‘Hands on’ biomedical signal processing design and development – Must
Strong Matlab programming skills – Must
PhD or MS degree in electrical engineering/signal processing, physics, Computer Science, applied mathematics or related technical discipline – Advantage
Strong foundation in theoretical and practical biomedical signal processing – Must
A deep understanding of filter design and filter properties – Advantage

Strong analytical, mathematical and scientific skills
Strong communication ability to describe complex technical concepts to fellow researchers
Ability to rapidly prototype algorithm concepts and ideas and make insightful decisions on research directions
