Responsibilities: Development of the software drivers for network and storage adapters. Elaboration of the architecture and the hardware requirement for the HW in the datacenter environments.
Work with several open source projects with foreign product and development team
Expertise: Device driver for Windows and/or Linux in virtualized environment and/or none virtualized environment
Requirements:
Experience of more than 7 years in the design and the development:
Kernel drivers on none virtualized environment
Kernel and Virtualized environment, QEMU – advantage
Device Drivers for NIC, HCA, HBA, RNIC
Block-level storage system. Knowledge of File and Network file systems is advantage
Deep knowledge of one of:
OS Kernel architecture for Windows or Linux including:
Memory, Process/Thread management
IO, CPU, Network virtualization
Hypervisor’s architecture VMware Esx/Esxi, Red Hat KVM, XEN, HyperV
PCIe protocol, CPU and hardware virtualization (SR-IOV, Virt-IO, S-IOV, IOMMU, VT-d, VT-x)
RDMA verbs, “Open Fabric” and RDMA suite including implementation of iWARP, RoCE, Infiniband.
Storage protocol: SCSI, NVMe
Storage Network protocols: FC, FCoE, iSCSI, iSER, FC virtualization
