Developing Marketing plans and programs with the MCHP sales and distributors. Manage, support and develop marketing tools for both PoE Midspans and PoE ICs.
Increase awareness to PoE products with all the relevant PoE Distributors.
Develop and drive programs and activities focusing on growing the PoE opportunity funnel.
Define and develop Marketing tools for the BU.
Lead the PoE BU outbound marketing activities – messaging, trade shows, web site , vertical marketing kits and digital marketing/Social media.
Developing marketing plans and initiatives that will enhance design-win and design-in efforts with distribution customers:
Support marketing activities for CIS and MCHP Distributors. Work in cooperation with the MCHP Channel marketing teams
Manage and execute the awareness programs through distribution: Training, web site presence, sales and marketing programs
Identify new potential distributors and partners
Build relationships with lead channel partners, VAR’s, System Integrators
Analyze trends in the distribution channel and end-user base for feedback to the BU
Collect and communicate to Tactical marketing the forecast of CIS opportunities
BSEE or equivalent with at least five years of technical marketing experience in a semiconductor / Systems corporation
At least 5-7 years of experience in business related positions in companies selling Enterprise products to the communication marketplace
Knowledge of the Ethernet and communication market is required
Ability to travel up to 30%
Demonstrate excellent communication, presentation, writing and listening skills
Excellent relationships establishments capability with high level executives at distribution
Experience with Tier-2 distributors is an advantage
