As the Sales Director APAC, you will lead our APAC sales & marketing team, working closely with all of our sales functions and other company departments to grow profitable markets by presenting our products and value-added while cultivating a strong sales team. Manage the Account Executives in the region (including remote employees). The position reports to VP Global Sales.
Roles & Responsibilities:
• Develop the short and long sales plan for the region
• Inspire, incentivize, manage, and lead a sales team.
• Develop the sales staff’s performance and professional growth.
• Ensure that the sales team is supported to deliver the targeted results.
• Develop strategic sales plans with the sales team with its distributors and direct channels.
• Plan development, including goals, objectives, and strategies focused on budget, profit margin, and direct sales attainment.
• Develop the in-direct sales in APAC.
• Manage the online channels in the region.
• Build the foundations of the company’s subsidiaries in the assigned region
• Hire sales team according to needs and budget including onboarding and training
• Manage region’s forecasts by product mix & revenues
• Develop sales procedures & methodologies to support the company objectives
• Work with VP Global Sales on global local projects
Requirements:
• Ten years of proven sales success leading to the level of Director
• At least two significant sales/business roles across the APAC region
• Experience from international global corporates – the ability to communicate with peers, employees, and customers all over APAC and elsewhere in the globe (multicultural person)
• Demonstrable experience in developing strategic and business plans
• A clear understanding of channel partner business models, channel programs, pricing models, channel marketing, and a proven track record of recruiting new channel partners
• Willingness for extensive travels all over the region from time to time
• Strong understanding of sales strategies and implementations
• Excellent organizational and leadership skills
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills
• Outstanding analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Self-motivated and self-starter
• BSc/BA in business administration or relevant field; MSc/MA will be preferred
• English – Fluent – A MUST, additional languages would be a great advantage
