JOB SUMMARY: The Research Team Manager will be
responsible for leading research activities of the company, including creating experimental designs and
strategies, managing a research team, allocating resources, and presenting
results
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Leading and managing the activities of a research team
including designing project experimental setups, allocating resources,
managing the team, analyzing results, and drawing conclusions. Up to
30% bench work Hands-on knowledge of all experimental procedures
practiced by the team, including handling and processing of human-derived
clinical specimens, body fluids and liquid biopsies Documentation and presentation of data and results to company management Working
closely with other company teams and departments in a flexible and
highly-collaborative way to advancing the company goals and missions. Keeping
up to date with latest developments in the field by reading literature and
attending relevant conferences Presentation
of research achievements in conferences and other outward-facing
activities and international travel. Ability to communicate
with the Company’s international colleagues outside of the standard business
hours of the Rehovot office
REPORTS TO: Vice President Biochemistry
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS/ABILITIES REQUIRED:
PhD in Biology/Life Sciences
5 years’ experience in leading research teams
Hands on experience in molecular biology techniques, including nucleic acid extractions and real-time PCR
Hands on experience in NGS library prep techniques, including target enrichment
Fluent scientific and professional English
