Regulatory & Quality Affairs Manager

Responsibilities

· Develop regulatory strategies for the filling of our chemical formulations (ECHA, REACH, EPA) and treated articles

· Preparing U.S., Europe and Israel submissions, and seek to obtain approval for chemical products/ treated articles

· Expedite & review compliance tests, procedures, and reports to ensure proper completion of necessary testing and documentation

· Manage and update databases of all substances, compliance checklists, relevant regulatory requirements, and documentation related to worldwide certifications for the company’s new and existing consumables

· Support customers’ regulatory requirements by preparing and providing product safety documentation (SDS) and compliance information

· Provide regulatory support to the company's R&D, business development and Product teams: informing and updating on worldwide changing relevant regulations, research and perform regulatory risk assessment and competitive analysis

· Manage & guide external counsels in the US and Europe

· Preparing the company for ISO accreditation & setting up quality assurance procedures

· Quality management – on going 

Requirements

· Bachelor's degree in Chemistry/Chemical Engineering/Material Sciences

· 5+ years of experience in regulatory affairs preferably in the chemical industry

· Experience in regulatory submissions with REACH/ECHA/EPA (biocidal and nano materials experience, an advantage)

· Familiarity with textile finishing agents and textile treated articles regulatory aspects – significant advantage

· Ability to comprehend principles of engineering and chemistry

· Familiarity with regulatory requirements in major markets as US and EU, as well as other international markets

· Proficient in searching and obtaining relevant information over the internet and databases

· Fluent in English and Hebrew. Additional languages – an advantage

· Business oriented and organized

· Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment, and under demanding timelines
