QA team is growing and we are looking to hire a Software QA Director for our expanding/growing teams. You will empower your team to help improve all aspects of our security software SaaS. • You will work with development and QA to define manual testing and testing methodology, pushing for continuous improvement through periodic reviews.
• Support your team to test and verify site appearance, functionality and performance across all of our brands
• You will recruit, hire, and lead an extraordinary team of Software QA Engineers, with 4-6 direct reports.
• You will provide thought leadership for Engineering and Product in all areas of software quality, including the deployment process. You will identify meaningful trends and practices so we can release quickly and with high confidence.
• You will be involved with defining our continuous integration environment, defining and evolving our testing strategy in service of team and company objectives.
About you:
• Have managed or have equal experience managing Software QA Engineers for 3+ years
• Have worked for companies where customers are spread across the globe.
• You have command of manual/exploratory testing practices.
• You have previous experience with growing and leading a team. Creating a work plan and following up on status.
• You are hungry to "roll up your sleeves" as a player-coach. You are excited at the prospects of seeing the individuals on your team grow and succeed.
• You are an excellent multi-tasker with the strong ability to effect change, influence, and collaborate within a technical team and also with company leadership.
Technical Skills:
• Experience delivering software in an agile, CI-based environment
• Experience managing tasks through Jira
• Some coding experience with Selenium - a plus
