Product Quality Engineer

Description:
This position will be responsible for AME Sustaining product quality, working with the Aftermarket team on shipping products. 
Responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
• Attend all Aftermarket PDT meetings
• Understand the technical details of all issues and proposed changes to the products
• Coordinate the Quality team Risk Assessment for each issue / change to the products
• Ensure the Validation plan for each FW release has appropriate test coverage to ensure a quality release.
• Coordinate with the WW AME Reliability teams to define the reliability test plans / schedules for each Sustaining / Aftermarket release.
• Coordinate with the WW AME Reliability teams to plan for capacity to support the needs of the Sustaining / Aftermarket activities.
• Provide regular updates to the Quality management team on all Sustaining / Aftermarket activities. 
• Successful candidates should possess the following, minimum, skills:
o Academic background- EE preferred or other engineering background
o Clear written and spoken communication skills
o Technical understanding of NAND storage principles
o FW background in embedded systems
o Project management skills
o Well organized with the ability to handle multiple concurrent issues
