Job Overview
An American based medical device company located in Caesarea is looking for a Process Development Engineer. The engineer will be responsible for
leading various aspects of the design and development of production processes and will work as a part of the engineering team. The individual will be
responsible for overseeing the refinement and expansion of the production line and its various connected processes. They should be capable of working with and managing communication with subcontractors and other external parties.
The ideal candidate has worked in the medical device industry and has experience with the expansion of production lines in a regulated environment. A strong advantage would go to someone with experience in manufacturing processes and production line design.
We are looking for an individual who is comfortable with collaborating on multi-faceted projects and that can adapt to a rapidly developing market. They should be capable of navigating the regulatory aspects of the medical device industry and of finding creative solutions to challenges.
Qualifications
· Bachelor’s degree in ChemicalMaterialMechanical Engineering from a university
· At least 4 years of hands-on experience in process development. Strong Advantage for process development in the medical device field
· Familiarity with production processes such as Chemical Etching, Passivation, Anodization, electropolishing, degreasing and final cleaning –
Strong Advantage
· Experience with process design and IQOQPQ process for production lines in the medical device field –Strong Advantage
· Experience with implementation of new production technologies – Strong Advantage
· Project management capabilities
· Proficiency using laboratory instrumentation
· Strong understanding of engineering operations related to process development, mfg. engineering, the supply chain, sourcing, and production
· Knowledge of quality and regulatory requirements for medical device development, plus experience dealing with regulatory agencies or outside
professional groups (e.g., FDA, ISO 13485 Standards)
· Strategic long term & short-term thinking
· High level English
