Responsibilities and Duties:
• Design animal and ex-vivo models intended for new therapeutic indications using company’s technology.
• Plan and execute ex-vivo and in-vivo studies related to ongoing indications.
• Record raw data collection, write protocols, reports, and summaries of the results of such studies.
• Perform literature and scientific searches and present the findings.
• Communicate with sub-contractors, CROs and other test site and overseeing technical stuff at CROs during company's experiments.
• Take integrative part in the preclinical department tasks (other studies, presentations, logistics, IT, etc.), according to the need set-up by the VP of Research and Preclinical Affairs.
Requirements:
• Ph.D in life sciences / DVM (Doctor of Veterinary Medicine) /MSc in life sciences only with extensive and appropriate industrial experience. Firm background in physiology.
• Prior experience in developing animal models in large animals.
• Previous experience with topical drug delivery is a benefit.
• Previous experience in nonclinical pharmaceutical development is an advantage.
• Previous experience with nonclinical CROs.
• Prior experience in conducting (hands on), monitoring and managing in-vivo studies (non-rodents) is a must (e.g. toxicology, feasibility, POC, efficacy studies).
• Experience in scientific and technical writing. Proven ability to perform critical scientific reviews and presentations.
• Capable of designing, executing, analyzing, interpreting, and reporting studies according to common pharmaceutical requirements.
• Able to work independently but at the same time, team oriented, collaborative, with excellent personal relationships, highly motivated and with high work ethics.
• Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment.
• Can conform to shifting priorities, demands and timelines through analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
• Self and fast learner, multitasked, punctual and accurate with keen attention to details and excellent organizational skills.
• Excellent proficiency in MS office applications.
• English – fluent, excellent writing, reading, and speaking abilities.
• Ability to travel abroad.
