Job Description:
The ideal candidate will be responsible production management & control, material purchasing & logistics. The job is in a dynamic, international multi-player environment
Responsibilities Include:
• Daily management of the suppliers and subcontractors (forecast, purchase orders, safety stock, production instructions, production control, logistics)
• Inventory management at subcontractor sites and warehouse
• Customer interface for production activity (Forecast, Order management, schedule update, invoicing, logistics)
• Work closely with the technical and NPI (New Product Introduction) functions to build and implement the project purchasing plan
• Export control – working with API, customers and vendors to make sure all export control requirements are fulfilled
• Interface to finance department – invoicing reflect the projects / orders profitability on monthly basis
Key Qualifications:
• 3-5 years of experience in purchasing and production control
• Experience in order management
• Experience with known ERP system, in purchasing or production module
• Good knowledge of English (written and communication) and Excel
• Detail oriented
• Strong cross-functional communication skills
Knowledge and experience in the following is advantage:
• Worked in a mid-size or small high-tech company
• Logistics / Forwarding experience
• Sub-contractor management
• Working with Israeli Defence companies
• Quality management
