This position primarily focuses on two aspects:
Design: Testing, evaluation and challenging of the development products from both system and sub-system-perspective,
Post market: Performance of root-cause analyses for processes and events
This role supports all development operations, focusing on maintaining the design reliability and integrity as high as possible through the performance of simulations, experiments and testing in the development phase and failure analyses of insufficient performances that arise during use in post market phase.
This positions requires:
Understand product function(s), and product use environments to appropriately and strategically apply technical knowledge, tools and methodologies to drive reliability improvements
Lead cross-functional teams
Communicate to key stakeholders, including external regulatory agencies, regarding fielded product with potential reliability issues
Define reliability thresholds for field performance monitoring, trending, and issue escalation
Review and approve changes to designs and processes, and assess their impact in order to ensure reliability requirements are met
Provide input for Regulatory submissions.
Must Have:
5 years experience in motion-systems design and analysis
Understanding of complexed mechanical systems
B.Sc. in Mechanical Engineering
