1.0 PURPOSE OF ROLE:
The position is to design process equipment according to the company knowhow and
procedures and follow up relevant fabrication and installation.
She/he shall co-ordinate with the other mechanical engineers as well as engineers from
other disciplines in the best interest of the projects he/she is assigned to.
2.0 REPORTING TO:
The Engineering Manager
3.0 KEY AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY
Prepare and check technical documents, including:
– Modeling and calculations
– drawings
– specifications
– vendor documents
– technical tabulations
– technical bid evaluation
Co-ordinate with companies supplying engineering services
Participate in internal meetings and in meetings with clients and suppliers
Supervising fabrication at vendor shops in Israel & worldwide
Supervising installation at client sites worldwide
4.0 QUALIFICATIONS/EXPERIENCE
4.1 MANDATORY REQUIREMENTS
B.Sc. degree in Mechanical Engineering
Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a similar role preferably within the industry
(Engineering company, Chemical Process/Oil & Gas industries)
Proficient in SolidWorks
Proficient in MS Office applications
Fluent English spoken and written
4.2 ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS
Specific knowledge in GRP/FRP is advantageous
Competency in FEA is advantageous
Knowledge of ASME codes for vessels is advantageous
Knowledge of composite materials is advantageous
Basic knowledge of QA/QC requirements is advantageous
