Responsibilities:
Export:
Use external services (forwarders) to export capital medical equipment and spare parts with time and budget constraints.
Support customs clearance and logistics aspects in destination countries worldwide
Finding logistics options for rush and unique shipments
Suggest worldwide customers optional importation and shipment options
Handling “Approved Exporter” Certificate from the Israeli customs
IMPORT:
Managing and handling import shipments, customs clearance and logistics aspects
Managing and handling pick-up of faulty parts and systems from sites and shipping back to company
Managing and handling importation certificates from Israel Ministry of Health and Ministry of Economy and Industry
General:
Selecting reliable and qualitative logistics suppliers
Managing and handling systems storage options
Managing tax claiming refund from the Israeli Customs (via Tmura – Logistics Consulting Ltd)
Managing European VAT claiming refund (via EUROVAT company)
Implement and maintain logistics performance reporting strategy including metrics related to on-time fulfilment and cost
Minimum requirements/qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree (preferred in economics or logistics) and self-learning ability.
At least five years of experience in similar type of activities
Knowledge of the Fundamentals of Logistics
Fluent English communication (oral and written)
Excellent computer and systems skills required with respect to MS Office applications and ERP (preferred Priority).
Demonstrated capacities in the development and implementation of logistics and infrastructures projects.
Team player with ability to maintain stressful situation
