Your activities will include:
Fine assembly and handling of optical and electrical components
Conducting experiments, measurements and electrical tests
Process development, collection, arrangement and analysis of data
Authoring reports
Performing benchmark analysis of available products
Technical interpretation of measurement and analysis data
Usage of precise measurement tools such as optical or laser systems
Usage of simulation tools such as Matlab or Zemax
Analyze and investigate new measurement methods and equipment and support ordering processes
Continuous improvement of measurement processes by defining and implementing new solutions. Both practical and theoretical (measurement equipment setup, programming scripts).
Requirements:
B.S. in Physics, Optical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or any relevant exact science or engineering degree.
Some experience working with optics: lab/work experience/academic project/other
Experience in lab work
Experience with SolidWork
Analytical thinking and well structured, precise working behavior;
Independent working skills, willing to work and communicate inside teams;
Nice to haves:
Excellent knowledge of MATLAB
Experience with Python programming
Image processing and Digital Signal processing experience
Familiar with data collection in a laboratory environment
Experience with hands-on laboratory work with optics metrology tools such as interferometers, image quality testers, etc
Thorough understanding of fundamentals of geometric and diffractive optics
Experienced in fiber optics, imaging optics, optical system design, optical testing, opto-electronics and Opto-mechanical designs
Experience with imaging testing lab management and test setup design and implementation
Experience in optical components performance testing and evaluation
