The main responsibility of an IT operations specialist is to maintain Servers, Infrastructure, Software, Virtual and cloud systems, In the course of maintaining these systems,
IT Operations specialists are expected to perform tasks such as operating system upgrades, patch application, firmware upgrades, hardware upgrades and other troubleshooting tasks.
Should have a knowledge in monitoring systems (Solarwinds is preferred) to Monitor the IT systems and perform daily routines to ensure stability and high availability.
The candidate should be able to troubleshoot all aspects of the monitoring system effectively and understand the product configuration, flow and logging in detail.
In addition, experience in other Microsoft Management technologies, including Active Directory services (AD), Exchange, Skype for Business Virtual and cloud infrastructures (Azure, VMware, Hyper-V, AWS).
Document supporting policies, processes and procedures within your areas of responsibilities
Provide 3rd level support to our internal support staff.
Continue proficiencies on emerging technologies through self-study and internal training
Available for after-hours critical escalations and project work as assigned.
Knowledge in Microsoft systems – Windows servers, Exchange, AD, Hyper-V, Skype for Business, SCCM
Knowledge in cloud services – Azure & AWS
Experience in Microsoft DFS, DHCP, DNS, IIS
Experience in VMware, troubleshooting and maintenance
Experience in NetApp, troubleshooting and maintenance
Knowledge & understanding of backup and DR systems
Ability to troubleshoot hardware and software issues.
Experienceworking with monitoring systems. SolarWinds is a plus.

Industry-related certifications (MCITP, MCSE) a plus
