Responsibilities:
• Providing technical support of Desktops, Laptops, Mobile devices and network hardware, software, telephony and peripheral equipment to the company employees including our global branches.
• Upgrading existing hardware and software, to correct reported hardware and/or software problems.
• Performing user and access administration on designated systems and applications, in accordance with the defined policies, standards and procedures of the organization
• Performing system security administration on designated technology platforms, including OSs and network security devices, in accordance with the defined policies, standards and procedures of the organization, as well as with industry best practices and vendor guidelines
• Performing installation and configuration management of security systems and applications, including policy assessment and compliance tools, network security appliances and host-based security systems
• Performing threat and vulnerability assessments, in some cases followed by appropriate remedial action, to ensure that systems are protected against known and potential threats and are free from known vulnerabilities
• Applying patches, where appropriate, and removes known control weaknesses, such as unnecessary services or applications or redundant user accounts, as a means of hardening systems in accordance with security policies and standards
• Responding to and, where appropriate, resolving or escalating reported security incidents
• Responding to and following up on security events reported by monitoring tools or in system and event logs
• Locating and Repairing security problems and failures
• Implementing or coordinating remediation required by audits, as necessary
• Performing normal and exceptional processing of user access and change requests, escalating such requests when appropriate
• Reporting suspected network security violations
• Reporting unresolved network security exposures, misuse of resources or noncompliance situations to management
• Developing and maintaining disaster recovery plans, processes and procedures in accordance with defined policies, standards and business requirements for designated systems
• Working with end-users to identify and deliver required service levels.
• 3+ years of experience in Corporate IT/Startup company as IT Manager or Security Administrator.
• Professional Certifications in system and network administration, security certifications such as CISSP
• Understanding of Information Security frameworks and best practices.
• Hands-on experience with common software and hardware
• Technical proficiency with network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and associated network protocols and concepts, as well as security-related systems and applications, especially the below mentioned.
• Microsoft Active Directory maintenance (Including GPO).
• Workstation OS (Windows 10,8 / MacOS)
• G Suite (Google for Work), MS Office suite
• Experience with SAAS/Cloud based IT solutions. (AWS)
• Experience with Virtual Environments (ESXi)
• Experience with Firewall management including IPS (Checkpoint/Fortigate)
• Experience with network equipment (HP, Cisco)
• Ability to prioritize, manage multiple tasks.
• Experience in developing, documenting and maintaining IT/security procedures
