About The Role
As Integration Engineer you’ll have the opportunity to take ownership and leadership of this role and propel your career in a fast-scaling startup environment. You’ll be responsible for building and managing relationships with existing and new merchants across North America, owning the technical
delivery of integration from pre-sales to launch, You’ll also own, maintain and develop different integrations SDKs, APIs and variety of supporting services.
What You’ll Do
Become a technical subject matter expert of BNPL and payments, developing a full understanding of internal and external capabilities of our products
Own the technical delivery of integrations from pre-sales through integration, including the testing, implementation and launch of merchant partner solutions
Work with technical product leads to design solutions that optimize our products and payment platform
Lead complex partner engagements involving multiple project teams both internally and externally
Assist merchants and partners with the technical architecture of solutions that match industry standards, use cases, strategy, and technical needs
Develop documentation that defines the overall solution and implementation plan Identify product / functionality gaps and collaborate with internal product and technology teams to define developments needed to support solution delivery
Work with internal product teams to align roadmap phases with future release schedules
Maintain our SDKs, APIs, technical documentation and innovate on our integration solutions.
What You Bring
An experience in the online payments space (BNPL, Credit Card, Banking or gateways and/or payment processors)
Relevant experience that would translate into working as a hybrid pre-sales / integrations engineer and support business development initiatives
Experience with / exposure to: web and mobile payment technologies, APIs, REST, Oauth, Salesforce, Zendesk, G Suite, Postman
Advanced knowledge of one or more of the following languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, .NET, PHP, Python, C++, Objective-C)
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal in English with the ability to communicate with everyone from C-Level Executives to engineers. Ability to successfully interact and dynamically adapt communication styles depending on the target audience
Ability to gather requirements and translate them into detailed design documents
Ability to analyze strategic objectives and define specific tactical goals required to achieve them
Who You Are
Customer obsessed with a minimum of 5 years experience in the online payments industry (BNPL, credit card, banking or gateways and payment processors).
You love a fast-paced, high growth environment and are able to operate independently given the right guidance and tools.
Bachelor’s degree in CS or related field.
Previous roles include pre-sales engineering or integration engineering and you’re comfortable partnering closely with the Sales Team to help achieve their initiatives.
You’re tech obsessed! Your experience has given you a deep understanding of APIs, REST and Oauth and you’re fluent in at least on of the more broadly used coding languages (C#, Java, JavaScript, Ruby, Perl, .NET, PHP, Python or C++ to name a few).
You’re a strong communicator and are comfortable interfacing with all levels and role types within the organization.
You’re able to successfully interact and dynamically adapt communication styles depending on the target audience.
You can identify strategic objectives and define specific tactical goals required to achieve them, then translate that into an actionable plan.
