Responsibilities include:
System-level HW platform design, functional specifications, board design, generation of technical documentation.
Interface with Chipset Architecture, SoC (RF & Analog, Baseband) & Power design teams for HW system architecture.
Schematic capture, component selection, lead layout process, lab bring-up & debug using RF, Digital & Power analysis equipment.
Review customer designs (schematic, layout) & support/
Minimum Qualifications:
Extensive experience in complex networking/wireless board/package design including digital, clock, power and RF circuits:
Excellent understanding of RF layout and cross-talk/noise mechanisms impacting system performance.
Strong design background with High-Speed digital interfaces (PCIe Gen4, USB3.0, multi-gigabit Ethernet, LPDDR5).
Knowledge of design and layout of DC/DC converters, LDOs & power distribution networks.
Proficient with schematic capture & layout tools (Mentor Xpedition, Cadence Allegro).
Hands-on bring-up & debug experience using Digital Scope, Power Analyzer, Vector Signal Analyzer, Spectrum Analyzer.
Pro-active, detail-oriented and effective working in a multi-task fast-paced environment.
Excellent English written and verbal communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
Knowledge of 2G/3G/4G/5G wireless standards and Experience with Cellular Base Station HW design is a strong plus.
Experience with very high density multi-layer board layouts.
Knowledge of high-speed signal & power integrity analysis tools (Keysight: ADS, SIPro, PIPro).
Education Requirements:
M.Sc EE + 6 years HW board design experience or
B.Sc EE + 9 years HW board design experience.
