A startup company in the area of Sono Chemistry is seeking for a chemical engineer or a PhD Chemist with industrial experience to lead the R&D of innovative chemical applications development via Sono finishing technology.
  
Job Description:
    • Responsibility for leading the company's R&D development of chemical applications via Sono finishing technology to service the textile and polymer industries
    • Perform lab scale research and upscale processes for industrial applications
    • Customer support – provide onsite expert level applications support & customer training as needed
    • Lead, design and execute collaboration of research with industry leaders/ partners & the academic world
    • Lead the regulatory and commercial accreditations required for the company's products
    • Support sales and marketing activities - write customer-oriented reports and participate in customer support activities
Required Qualifications:
    • Msc. or Engineering degree in material engineering or chemical engineering or PhD in Chemistry  
    • Minimum of 7 years of working experience in the industry (R&D roles and/ or process engineering in industrial chemical production company)
    • Experience in chemical formulation development and synthesis of inorganic compounds
    • Lab & research management experience
    • Analytical testing tools know how (ICP, AA, HPLC, HRSEM etc.)
    • Ultrasonic systems applications and/ or operation experience/ know how – an advantage
    • Sono Chemistry experience – an advantage
    • Surface modifications engineering and processes - an advantage
    • Experience in the textile and/ or polymer industries – an advantage
    • Fluent English
    • MS Office fluency
    • Excellent teamwork & communication skills
