Managing Projects and Programs:
Apply project management leadership skillset to plan, initiate, monitor, track and ultimately deliver service-related projects and programs.
Lead cross functional teams for Global Service, focusing on Robotics and driving business process improvement and development of service-wide systems and mature cross-functional partnerships.
Develop and implement processes across Service that standardize processes to drive consistency.
Partner with cross functional, global teams to define, implement, and monitor processes and systems to improve service delivery for both internal and external customers.
Convey, drive and esclate project statuses, issues and successes through effective communication with team members, stakeholders and upper management.
Effectively meet milestones and deadlines in an autonomous environment.
Become an expert on the service business and apply that knowledge to educate and mentor others.
Apply broad business acumen, including basic knowledge of financial modeling, ROI, and other cost/benefit tools.
Learn and apply a strong understanding of the service business, products and clincial applications.
Learn and apply a strong understanding of Medtronic Service and Enabling Technologies’ strategies and a solid general business understanding to drive business growth objectives.
Lead and participate in continuous improvement activities across the Services organization.
Enforce quality standards within every project and all day to day activities.
Performs duties in compliance with environmental, health and safety related site rules, policies or governmental regulations.
Travel requirement: Less than 10%
Must Have:
Minimum of 4 years of relevant experience, or advanced degree with a minimum of 2 years of relevant experience.
Nice to Have
PMP Certification (or ability to attain within 2 years)
1+ years of experience with medical devices and systems, imaging technology, or other technical disciplines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Microsoft Excel expertise (functions, expressions, pivot tables, formulas, data sets)
2+ years of experience leading diverse and complex projects
Independent thinker with the ability to take both a commercial and operational view of complex situations
Ability to solve highly complex problems across multiple business functions
Experience with Microsoft Project
Experience with SalesForce.com
