Front End Tech Lead

Job description
· Lead the Front end development of a new micro-service based platform
· Recruit and mentor developers
· Setting development standard and guide the team in meeting them
· Work closely with Product and Architect to design the system
· Take active role in the scrum team day2day
· Design and develop UI components and infrastructure
· Contribute in all phases of the development lifecycle
· Write well designed, testable, efficient code
· Ensure designs are in compliance with specifications
· Support continuous improvement by investigating alternatives and technologies and presenting these for architectural review
· Be part of scrum team and work closely with product owner, QA, devops and other team members
· Passionate about the front end evolution and self-learner
Job requirements
- At least 3 years of experience developing web applications – a must.
- Deep knowledge of HTML, CSS and JavaScript – a must.
- Deep understanding in one of the following libraries/frameworks is a must: React (big advantage) or Angular2/Vue
- Ability to design and develop complex components independently, dealing with advanced architectural issues.
- Experience with Redux/MobX – big advantage.
- Experience with NodeJS and Express – big advantage.
- Experience with build tools such as Webpack – big advantage.
- Experience in back-end development in other languages e.g. Java - an advantage
- Passion for the dynamic world of JavaScript development
- Excellent communication skills and ability to drive requirements
- Ability to lead tasks independently
- A "can-do" attitude
