As an Engineering Manager you will be part of the vision, strategy, and leadership for the Engineering department to support the business needs.
●Plans, directs and implements all aspects of the company’s sustain Engineering aspects of medical device.
●May develop, evaluate, implement and maintain technical quality assurance and control systems or reliability systems and standards pertaining to materials, techniques, or company products.
●Oversees the investigation and evaluation of existing technologies.
●Guides the conceptualization of new methodologies, materials, machines, processes or products.
●Monitors documentation maintenance throughout all phases of research and development.
●Organizes the coordination of activities with outside suppliers and consultants to ensure timely delivery.
●Selects, develops and evaluates personnel to ensure the efficient operation of the function.
As part of your day to day you will:
Lead the process of change control (ECO) in products and manufacturing process. Provides engineering authority in the company’s operating system Responsible for coverage of development portfolios prior to transfer to mass production Implementation and improvement of processes to ensure production efficiency and maintain product quality. •Responsibility of the content of various engineering documents: assembly and testing instructions, SPEC and technical instruments ect. Definition and planning test processes for products in assembly and production processes Analyze manufacturing failures and find a solution to change the process or product design Cross functional interface and support with R&D and Quality teams Develop talent, engagement, mentoring and coaching staff on meeting/exceeding performance expectations and defined objectives, providing leadership to staff ensuring the prioritization to include defining performance goals and targets, conducting performance reviews, and staff 1:1s to guide performance management and employee development efforts and manage toward departmental goals.

Must Have
BSc. degree in Mechanical Engineering from a well-known university Fluent in Hebrew and English is preferred At least 10 years proven experience in Engineering environments of multi-disciplinary products or advanced degree with at least 7 years experience. Minimum of 5 years relevant managerial experience of leading an engineering team Experience in medical device industry or other highly regulated industry Strong teamwork ability Excellent human relations, independence, authority, readiness for strenuous work, proven ability to work across multiple tasks and interfaces
