SW development position using CEVA DSPs (vector processors) running on bare-metal and/or hard real-time kernel.
Design and Implementation of algorithmic specifications on target platform
Implementation of advanced algorithms that are very new and are heavily patented. (Attractive position for a person with the right background.)
Verification against simulation models
End-to-end integration of algorithmic specs into system
Participate in bring-up and verification of “post-silicon” chips.
Profile:
Degree in Electrical Engineering and/or Computer Science from a leading university in Israel or overseas. Preference to candidates that studied both disciplines (e.g.. Computer Engineering (Technion/BGU) or Electrical Engineering and Comp. Science (TAU)) and excelled in their studies.
Proven experience in development of hard real-time systems
Good understanding of hardware and VLSI design.
System-level knowledge
Good background in signal processing and information theory but without aspirations to be an algorithm engineer. (We need good implementers)
Expert knowledge of C (Vec-C an advantage)
Knowledge in communication systems (modems) and signal processing.
Experience in development on DSP platforms (an advantage)
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and to “take ownership” of development tasks
“Startup” mentality – ability to work under aggressive schedules for extended periods, multi-disciplinary, embrace responsibilities and challenges, success driven, team player.
Good communication skills.
