תיאור המשרה | What you’ll do:
* Manage infrastructure tools such as build system, deployments, backups, and monitoring, as well as integration between services (JIRA, Github, Slack, Stackdriver, OpsGenie, etc.)
* Collaborate with our backend engineers to ensure that new services are properly monitored and production changes are carefully planned to avoid downtime.
* Manage employee access to production and engineering services.
* Investigate and mitigate operational issues
* Participate in an on-call rotation and regular reviews of production incidents and changes.
* Serve as an escalation point for customer issues requiring debugging of backend services
* As needed, engage in strategic operational projects around disaster recovery, SOC controls, migration to new cloud services, etc.
Qualifications
Who you are and what you possess:
* Proficiency with a programming language like Python or Ruby, and with shell scripting. Familiarity with golang is a plus.
* B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related quantitative discipline, or an equivalent industry internship or industry software engineering experience
* Experience working with a variety of services (DNS, object storage, load balancing, compute, etc.) in a cloud platform such as AWS or GCP.
* Familiarity with continuous integration tools such as Jenkins, Travis, or Wercker
* Strong system troubleshooting skills with always on, highly available systems
Additional preferred qualifications:
* Experience implementing “infrastructure as code” using tools such as Ansible or Terraform
* Experience using REST APIs to interact and integrate with third-party services
* Prior experience in DevOps, Site Reliability, or backend/infrastructure engineering for a company experiencing fast-paced growth is a plus.
