DevOps

Ideal candidates will have experience with medium to large scale deployments, a passion for problem solving, Infrastructure as Code experience, and the ability to learn new skills as required.

Responsibilities:

Build, monitor, and maintain development and production infrastructure through automation    Assist in troubleshooting system and application issues    Automation of legacy infrastructure deployments, processes, and procedures    Maintain security of systems infrastructure through best practices, software updates, vulnerability remediation, etc    Work closely with other groups to meet business needs and goals    Monitor and address production issues in real time.  

 

Skills and Requirements:

Proficient in Linux    

Basic knowledge of security fundamentals    

Ability to do shell scripting in Bash    

Basic Ruby and/or Python    

Experience in core Operating System components including but not limited to: Networking & DNS           Experience with configuration management (Ansible, Chef, Puppet, etc)    

Familiarity with revision control software (Git, SVN, etc)    Familiarity with containers and container management systems in one or more of the following: Docker, Kubernetes

Experience with Monitoring and Metrics systems   

Experience with RDBMS and/or NoSQL type databases.    

Working knowledge with AWS
