As part of your day to day you will be:
· Developing, maintaining, supporting, and optimizing key functional areas, particularly in the support of cloud services according to defined SLA
· Ensure processes and resources are aligned towards achieving committed SLAs and KPIs
· Collaborate with the DevOps team to design requirements and build the monitoring systems
· Schedule and direct activities to resolve cloud, and software problems in a timely and accurate fashion
· Responsibility for Incident Management, Problem Management, Monitoring Response, and Reporting/Metrics
· Build, develop, and lead the problem management process to ensure long-term cloud services performance and stability.
· Provide guidance and assistance to network operations to maintain the availability and the performance of cloud services at the highest possible levels.
· Drive a continuous improvement environment
Qualifications
Must Have:
· Broad and in-depth knowledge of working with Amazon AWS
· Broad and in-depth knowledge of internet infrastructure technologies.
· Experience with all aspects of networking including IP, TCP, VPNs, Routering and Firewalls.
· Experience with Linux and Windows Operating systems.
· Experience with service monitoring, user experience recording and SLA and KPI measurement and analysis.
· Excellent written and oral communication skills in English.
· Strong follow-through and initiative to stay with issues until they are resolved, along with discipline and tenacity to meet deadlines.
Nice to have:
· Demonstrated ability to manage remote teams in multiple time-zones
