Backend Developer

Key Responsibilities
• Design and implementation back-end components with robust set of services and APIs.
• Implementation of security and data protection
• Ensure the performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
• Integration with 3rd party services
• Collaborate with a team to define, design, and ship new features
• Help maintain code quality, organization, and automatization
Job Requirements:
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Software or another related field required.
• 4+ years software development experience.
• Proficient knowledge of a Java and knowledge of advanced Java libraries and frameworks such as Spring or Vert.x
• Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
• Understanding of fundamental design principles behind a scalable application
• Understanding of Microservice architecture and cloud-based deployments
• Ability to implement automated testing platforms and unit tests
• Extensive hands-on experience of creating robust software, designing protocols, implementing interfaces, and performance optimization.
• Working knowledge of Web Services & REST (JSON) APIs.
