Automation Engineer

As a senior automation and testing infrastructure engineer you will be responsible to:
● Develop, enhance and maintain testing tools, plugins and framework
● Review requirements, specifications and technical design documents to provide
timely and meaningful feedback
● Liaise with internal teams (e.g. developers and architects) to identify system
requirements
● Create detailed, comprehensive and well-structured test plans and test cases
● Code and run new tests and testing tools
● Debug, define and implement corrective actions following test failures
● Open and manage issues through our bug tracking system (JIRA)
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
Required:
● BS/MS degree in Computer Science, Engineering or a related subject or equivalent
work experience
● At least 3 years of proven work experience in software/automation development
● Proven programming experience and competence to code in various programming
languages such as Python and C
● Experience with Linux OS and understanding of its architecture basics
● Strong verbal and written skills
● High motivation to learn new technologies and deep diving into details
● A true “bug hunter”: strong drive to find and track down defects no matter how
concealed they are
Advantageous:
● Building test infrastructures using containerization technologies such as Docker
● Working within continuous integration / continuous delivery pipeline processes
● Experience with enterprise storage applications and technologies
● Understanding of and experience with networking protocols
