Responsibilities:
§ Full cycle processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, fixed assets & credit card transactions including validation, coding, entry, tracking & payments.
§ Own and maintain monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close activities and deliverables, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, reporting, and variance analyses.
§ Maintain internal control environment, company policies and procedures, and ensure transaction documentation is adequately retained.
§ Partner with the local team and headquarters in Vancouver, Washington S.A. to ensure accurate, timely and complete accounting and reporting of Israeli activities.
§ Assist with preparing monthly employee payroll
§ Assist with VAT Returns, VAT audits and compliance with local regulations / legislation.
§ Assist with with local, state, and government reporting requirements and reporting to tax and social security authorities.
Requirements:
§ High-level English (both spoken and written) as you’ll be working closely and frequently with corporate headquarters
in the United States.
§ Certified bookkeeper (minimum level 2; type 3 is an advantage)
§ Certified Payroll Controller – advantage
§ Experience working with and accounting for transactions in multiple currencies.
§ Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with tight, strict deadlines
§ Experience working with NetSuite ERP system – advantage
§ Experience in Israeli accounting policies & tax law.
§ Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
§ Excellent communication and organizational skills
§ Team player and service-oriented
