Full cycle processing of vendor invoices, employee expense reports, fixed assets & credit card transactions including validation, coding, entry, tracking & payments.
Own and maintain the accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and year-end accounting close activities and deliverables, including journal entries, accruals, reconciliations, consolidations, external & internal reporting, and expense variance analyses
Responsible for local currency cash forecasting and treasury responsibilities including Inter-company funding requests, cross & recharges, reconciliation and reporting.
Responsible for payments to Israeli suppliers
Maintain internal control environment, company policies and procedures, and ensure transaction documentation is adequately retained.
Full-cycle processing of Israel payroll on a monthly basis for all Israel based employees, while incorporating payroll data from multiple internal and external sources. This includes delivering off-cycle/ad hoc payments as needed & the annual and monthly forms like 101, 161, 126, etc.
Partner with HR as it relates to employee on/off-boarding, benefits, deductions and other matters.
Monthly accruals and reporting such as vacation, payroll & tax accruals.
Partner with Procurement team in Washington to coordinate purchases of technology, supplies, facilities, and other local to Israel.
Partner with local team and headquarters in Washington regards to budget and reporting needs.
Complete VAT Returns, manage VAT audits and ensure compliance to local regulations / legislation.
Comply with local, state, and government reporting requirements and reporting to tax and social security authorities.
Lead special projects, including process improvements, software and reporting systems implementations & enhancements, as required.
B.A. Degree in Accounting
Certified bookkeeper (minimum level 2; type 3 is an advantage)
Certified Payroll Controller and experience with leading payroll and HR systems
5+ years relevant experience within a multi-national company, preferably a software / technology company
Ability to work in a fast-paced work environment with tight, strict deadlines
Experience working with NetSuite ERP system
Experience in Israeli accounting policies & tax law & proficient knowledge and comprehension of Israel payroll rules and regulations
High-level English (both spoken and written)
Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask
Excellent communication and organizational skills
