Position Description:
The Social Account Manager is responsible for overseeing all facets of client utilization of the Social management platform. The AM is ultimately accountable for clients’ satisfaction and ability to leverage Social to drive ROI for Social initiatives.
The ideal candidate will have great project management skills, excellent technical credentials, hands on experience implementing Social campaigns and most importantly, a consultative approach to addressing client needs.
Duties and Responsibilities:
• To actively build relationships with client partners
• Provide technical support of the platform
• To support the social client service practice to drive client retention, organic growth, and new business growth
• To provide business applied paid social media solutions and strategies
• Provide training to clients to enable them to effectively use the Social
• To partner closely with the product development, sales, technical account management and sales engineers to drive platform innovation and capture market opportunity
• Ensure client expectations are exceeded
• Ability to understand the a client’s business goals, to anticipate future needs and help determine the ideal solution
• Communicating regularly with the customer to evaluate satisfaction
• To support weekly/biweekly client calls
• To forecast monthly revenue for existing business or for any new opportunities
• Perform detailed client audits to identify client needs or workflow gaps
• To collaborate with Local and Search client service teams
• Support new team members within client services as well across other
Position Requirements:
• B.A. or B.S.
• Ability to understand the basic Social ecosystem
• Basic understanding of digital advertising concepts. Knowledge of paid Social advertising concepts preferred.
• Ability to thrive in a fast pace environment with tight deadlines
• Ability to elicit client feedback to help direct continuous improvements for the Social platform
• Phenomenal communication skills and organized project management
• Experience collaborating with a team both locally and virtually
• Organized and methodical, with excellent time management skills
• Energized by solving problems and finding opportunities to make a client successful
• Ability to understand the a client’s business goals, to anticipate future needs and help determine the ideal solution
• social platform experience preferred
• Ability to travel 10%-20% of the time
• Microsoft Excel and other technical code such as basic JavaScript and HTML is a plus
